Mahjong Ways captures the intellectual prestige and tactile satisfaction of traditional mahjong. On reels 2, 3, and 4, certain tiles appear with gleaming gold borders. When these tiles form part of a winning match, they do not disappear—instead, they transform into Wild Chinese Ingot symbols for the subsequent cascade.
Consecutive cascades advance the multiplier bar above the reels from 1x to 2x, 3x, and 5x. When 3 Scatters trigger the Free Spins feature, these values double to 2x, 4x, 6x, and 10x respectively.
